What exactly are they?
Hemorrhoids are tissues that have become swollen - especially the area in which blood is transported to the lower pelvic region and in particular at the rear point of the anal canal.
They are mainly cause by constipation; the tissues become swollen and irritated by the movement of very hard stool making its way out of the rectum. They will sometimes bleed a lot. Moreover, at other instances, it may feel like having itching powder up rear or it might be like sitting on a hot fire poker.
Whatever the cause of your condition you will know that they are uncomfortable and most people will spend lots of money to find a cure to relieve them.
What can actually be done about them?
For the most part there is no absolute cure for hemorrhoids- when you contract them you are stuck with them. There is however, a number of ways to relieve suffering that can work very well.
The only problem is that it is temporary relief. When you find your diet returning to its old ways the hemorrhoids will come back. Your GP will give you the advice no doubt to eat plenty of fruit and vegetables accompanied with lots of water.
Medical Procedures
If need be hemorrhoids can be removed by surgery by use of rubber banding or laser treatments. Hemorrhoidectomy can only be used in very severe cases when there is no other option. In addition, there is not a guarantee that they will not come back again anyway. Laser treatment will scar any bulging soft skin, which has lost its tone.
This will cause them to tighten and support themselves easier. Rubber banding will cut off all of the blood flowing to that excess tissue. They will eventually die and fall off and be sent on their way out of the rectum by passing stool.
Ointments and Suppositories

There are even some natural remedies used in today's Western medicine, for example, zinc oxide is used as an antiseptic as well as a barrier and Arnica is used to reduce bruising.

It is very easy to buy and find 100% natural medicines. They will usually take the same form as regular treatments prescribed by your doctor- like lotions, ointments, tablets and in the case of
homeopathic medicines- drops can be taken orally with either water, sugar, and under the tongue.
